Besides the amazing architecture, the Ex “Hacienda Corralejo” is the home of the Tequilera Corralejo, the only tequilera open to the public, its distance is so short of the city of Irapuato, that just 25 minutes to get to this historic site. During the tour, we witness great fields that extend into the horizon, like a real green paradise. The history of our proud Tequila Corralejo goes back to the origins of the old “Hacienda Corralejo”, which was founded in 1755 by a visionary man who was the first manufacturer of tequila in Mexico (and hence global), Don Pedro Sánchez de Tagle , holder of the title of Sergeant Major Third of Mexico Milicios of the Order of Calatrava, Prior of the Consulate of Mexico and the noble title of Marquis of Altamira Consort.

Around the ranch (farm) hides between the arches of white oak barrels that house a delicate and smooth reposado tequila. Among the peacocks popping barrels that blend perfectly with the decor.

So far as we cover the hull of the estate we find “The Wine Museum and the Bottle”, which for its wide variety of liquor bottles is the largest in Mexico, you can see drinks from around the world current and old. It comprises about 3000 pieces and 99% retained their original drink. Being in the historic walls of the Ex “Hacienda Corralejo”, you can taste the tequila straight from the barrels that have stayed during the process, so the visitor can choose from four different tequilas: Corralejo Blanco, Corralejo Reposado, Añejo and Corralejo Triple Distilled.
